The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Two Rivers will not be holding public worship until the arrival of its intern minister, expected in September of 2012. We envision the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Two Rivers to be a welcoming liberal religious community that provides:
• Fellowship that encourages connection, growth, nurturing, support and friendship to each other, honoring our diversity;
• Religious Education for all ages through multi-generational opportunities for individual and group spiritual development;
• Worship Services led by a full-time minister that engage us spiritually and intellectually, and include music and electronic media;
• A Sacred Space that is warm, welcoming, environmentally green, and reflects and incorporates the natural beauty of our surroundings;
• Commitment to be a strong and visible social justice presence in our local community and to actively promote social and environmental justice to create a better world;
• Opportunities for laughter, celebration, social activities, reflection, meditation and spiritual exploration;
• Stewardship of our congregation, through contributions of both time and money on the part of our members and friends.
